The Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted) regulates and inspects to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.
The last time Ofsted inspected Seven Mills, in January 2018, we were rated 'Good'. We are really pleased with much of what is in this report – of course, most of all that the school continues to be graded as ‘good’, but also about: the very positive comments about pupil behaviour and attitudes towards learning; the valuable contribution of governors; the fact that children work hard; and the way that we are a friendly, caring school community in which families feel supported.
The areas for development are both sensible, and things that we want to work on to help make our school even better. Thank you to everyone, once again, for all their hard work in achieving such a good report.
You can see a copy of the report here.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of the school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
They will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
